    How do you replace switches or transducers for the 2007 Ford Mustang? Posted by Customer

    To replace switches or transducers, first unplug the electrical connector from the switch or transducer. Then, unscrew the switch or transducer from the Schrader valve with a wrench. Lubricate the switch O-ring with clean refrigerant oil of the correct type. Screw the new switch or transducer onto the threads until hand tight, then tighten it securely with a wrench. Finally, reconnect the electrical connector.

    To replace the pressure cycling switch, unplug the electrical connector, unscrew the switch from the accumulator, lubricate the switch o-ring with clean refrigerant oil, screw the new switch onto the accumulator threads until hand tight, and then tighten it securely. Finally, reconnect the electrical connector.
