    Unbolt the stabilizer bar bushing clamps and guide the stabilizer bar out. While off the vehicle, slide off the retainer bushings and inspect them, replacing if cracked or worn.

    Remove the engine roll restrictor heat shield and related bolt, mark the location of the front sub-frame to the underbody at the mounting locations. Support the front sub-frame with floor jacks, remove the bolts and nuts from the sub-frame support brackets, and then remove the four sub-frame nuts, lowering the sub-frame with the jacks by about 3 inches.
