    To replace the intermediate cable, remove the adjusting nut from under the vehicle, disconnect the cable ends at the left rear and transverse cable, and remove the cable and adjuster bracket assembly, keeping track of the order of parts. Install the equalizer assembly and reconnect the cable ends.
