    Raise the transmission slightly with a jack, then remove the bolts attaching the mount to the transmission. Place a transmission jack or floor jack under the transmission and raise it just enough to allow you to slip the old mount out from between the transmission and the crossmember. Remove the mount bolts and then remove the mount (note that the crossmember is removed for clarity, but crossmember removal is not necessary).
