    Remove the under vehicle splash shield. Lift the engine cover off the ballstuds and remove it. Remove the battery and battery tray. Remove the shift cable and bracket. Place a drain pan under the engine oil filter and remove the filter. Remove the oil cooler mounting bolt and lower the cooler. Remove the battery cable ground wire nut and cable from the starter mounting stud bolt. Finally, pull back the protective cover from the starter's terminals, remove the nuts, and disconnect the battery cable and the electrical connector from the starter.
