    The hazard and turn signal switches on earlier models are part of the turn signal switch hub assembly while in later models they are integrated into the multi-function switch. Disconnect the battery cable to replace the turn signal and hazard switch. Lower the cover, and remove the steering wheel. At the harness connectors, disconnect the wires from the switches. Remove the hazard switch by lifting it after unscrewing a retaining screw. Unscrew a turn signal handle, lift out this switch after removing retaining screws. Pull wires through the hub, remove the plastic cover, remove the assembly. Insert new switch wires through the hub and connect them to the connector. For complete installation reverse removal steps.

    Place the switch in position and install the screws, then connect the electrical connector. Install the steering column covers. Line up the tangs on the lever with the slot in the switch and install it by pushing straight in.
