How to replace spark plugs in Ford Expedition?

Vehicles with 4.2L engines have side spark plugs, while 4.6L and 5.4L engines have top plugs. For replacement, you'll need a spark plug socket, extensions, gap gauge, and possibly a special wire removal tool. Use a torque wrench. Buy new plugs in advance, adjust gaps, and replace one at a time. Let engine cool, check new plugs for defects, adjust gaps. Remove wire, blow away dirt, remove plug counterclockwise. Compare old plug to chart. Apply anti-seize compound, tighten new plug. Inspect wire before attaching to new plug. Repeat for remaining plugs, replace one at a time.
