How to replace the Distributor Cap and spark plug wires on Mercury Cougar?

When changing the spark plug wires, apply a silicone dielectric compound inside each boot before reconnecting. While engine is running in a dark and well-ventilated garage visually check spark plug wires for arcing or sparks.
