Begin by removing the negative battery cable to pull off the Timing Cover. After that, take out the oil filter after draining away the engine oil. Then, remove the water pump pulley, drivebelt, and crankshaft pulley respectively. You should also disconnect the camshaft and crankshaft sensors as well as DIS modules. On the 7.5L engine, slide off the sleeve from the crankshaft and remove the remaining timing chain cover-to-block bolts. Unbolt and remove all accessory brackets attached to the timing chain cover. From underneath the vehicle, remove the oil pan-to-timing chain cover bolts and cut the oil pan gasket flush with the engine block face using a razor knife. Remove the remaining bolts and gently tap the timing chain cover loose with a soft-face hammer.
