To begin, turn the windshield wiper switch On and the ignition switch on, keeping your hand on the key; when the wiper arms move to the straight up position, turn the ignition switch Off. For 2010 and earlier models, remove the right side wiper arm and blade assembly, then take off the pivot nut from the right side linkage post, allowing the linkage to drop down into the cowl.
