- A:Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and open the hood. Reach behind the headlight assembly and unplug the electrical connector, using a screwdriver to hold the clip out of the way. Grasp the bulb holder and turn it counterclockwise to remove it. Lift the holder assembly out for access to the bulb. Push in and rotate the bulb counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new bulb into the holder and rotate it clockwise to seat it in the holder. Finally, install the bulb holder in the headlight assembly.Posted by FordPartsGiant Specialist
