How do you replace a halogen headlight bulb on Ford Mustang?

To replace the left headlight bulb, one has to pull out the air filter housing. Push the release tab down and pull the electrical connector off, then turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise. In case of the removal of the headlight bulb assembly with an intention of attending to the headlight housing, the electrical connector does not warrant to be disconnected. Next remove the bulb holder by turning it anti-clockwise and at the same time, pulling the bulb and holder assembly out; it is important to realize that the bulb cannot be separately removed from the holder. On this model, the bulb and holder itself are one unit, so do not try to disassemble this unit. To put it in place, just do the process in the reversal with care taken not to touch the surface of the bulb while installing it; to place the bulb holder, rotate it in a clockwise manner in the headlight housing until it settles.

Q: How do you replace a halogen headlight bulb on Ford Mustang?
A: To replace the left Headlight bulb, one has to pull out the air filter housing. Push the release tab down and pull the electrical connector off, then turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise. In case of the removal of the headlight bulb assembly with an intention of attending to the headlight housing, the electrical connector does not warrant to be disconnected. Next remove the bulb holder by turning it anti-clockwise and at the same time, pulling the bulb and holder assembly out; it is important to realize that the bulb cannot be separately removed from the holder. On this model, the bulb and holder itself are one unit, so do not try to disassemble this unit. To put it in place, just do the process in the reversal with care taken not to touch the surface of the bulb while installing it; to place the bulb holder, rotate it in a clockwise manner in the headlight housing until it settles.
