Plug in the electrical connector.

Remove the assembly by taking out the mounting screws and washers, disconnect the electrical connector, and place the assembly on a workbench. Separate the bulb holder assembly from the lens and replace the bulb by pulling it straight out and pushing the new one in. Reassemble and use new mounting screws and washers if recommended by the manufacturer.

Slide the side light housing rearward, pull it out, disconnect the wiring, and reinstall it in reverse.

Make sure that the headlight switch and the ignition switch are both turned off, then open the hood. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight assembly for 2007 and earlier models. Remove the rubber boot from the headlight assembly. Disengage the headlight bulb retainer spring. Remove the bulb from the headlight assembly. Without touching the glass part of the new bulb with your bare fingers, insert the bulb into the headlight assembly. Make sure that the three metal tabs on the bulb are aligned with the three grooves of the plastic base, then push the bulb into the headlight assembly until the bulb's metal base is fully seated against the plastic base. Swing the spring retainer back into place and engage the spring ends with their respective hooks on the headlight assembly. Install the protective rubber boot on the headlight assembly. Plug in the electrical connector. Test the headlight operation, then close the hood. For 2008 and later models, make sure that the headlight switch and the ignition switch are both turned off, then open the hood. Disconnect the wiring from the headlight bulb. Twist the bulb counterclockwise. then remove it. Installation is the reverse of removal. Test the headlight operation, then close the hood.
