How do you replace the turn signal/hazard switch and the multi-function switch on Ford Bronco?

As a replacement for the turn signal or hazard switch on early models, you have to remove the negative cable from the battery. Secondly, take off the hand brake lever and the accelerator; on this be careful not to touch the air bag system. Remove the Turn Signal Switch by retracting the turn signal switch lever, and by unscrewing it from the Turn Signal Switch. Then pull out the Turn Signal Switch shroud, as well as the instrument panel opening cover. Pulling off the Turn Signal Switch harness connector on the bottom part of the Turn Signal Switch and using a few more twists of a wire terminal removal tool to remove each of wires in turn from the connector which is to be retrieved for reinstallation with precise consideration of color code and its position. Twist the free wire ends and cover them by tape and also insert a pull through wire then remove the cover of the switch as well as the wire harness. For the new switch, fix the wires at the pull wire and while guiding put the harness through. Place the wire terminals into the correct positions in the connector then insert the wires into their respective position and push down firmly on the connector until it clicks to assume or lock in position. Reverse process for installation and ensure that all turn signal and warning flasher functions are working properly. For later models, the starting point is to unlock and pull off the Turn Signal Switch shrouds, then unscrew and pull out the multi-function switch while the installation process is done the other way around.
