    A: Remove the access panel from the right rear quarter trim panel by rotating the locking knobs one-quarter-turn counterclockwise. Disconnect the electrical connector from the resistor to replace the blower motor resistor for the auxiliary climate control, then remove the retaining screws. Next, remove the blower motor resistor mounting bolts and the resistor itself. Installation is the reverse of removal. To remove the blower motor, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor, remove the cooling tube and the retaining screws. Installation is also the reverse of removal.

To separate the blower fan from the motor, grasp the retaining washer with pliers and pull it off or pry it off with a small screwdriver, being careful not to crack it or the fan. To reinstall the retaining washer, simply push it on to the shaft, but make sure that it's still snug. If the retainer washer is loose, replace it. Installation is the reverse of removal.
