How to remove and install the blower motor resistor and blower motor for auxiliary climate control on Ford Excursion?

Remove the access panel from the right rear quarter trim panel by rotating the locking knobs one-quarter-turn counterclockwise. Disconnect the electrical connector from the resistor to replace the blower motor resistor for the auxiliary climate control, then remove the retaining screws. Next, remove the blower motor resistor mounting bolts and the resistor itself. Installation is the reverse of removal. To remove the blower motor, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor, remove the cooling tube and the retaining screws. Installation is also the reverse of removal.
