    Q:
How can you check for disc run-out, and what should you do if it's present for the 2000 Ford Expedition? Posted by Customer
    A:
To check for disc run-out, place a dial indicator at a point about 1/2-inch from the outer edge of the disc. Set the indicator to zero and turn the disc. If there's run-out, the disc should be refinished by an automotive machine shop.

Before inspecting the vehicle's brake discs, if the vehicle is equipped with air suspension, turn off the air suspension system. The switch is located in the area of the right kick panel.
