Q: How to change the transmission fluid and replace the filter on Ford Bronco?
A: At specified intervals, change transmission fluid and replace filter. No drain plug, remove transmission oil pan to drain fluid. Warm up vehicle, support on jackstands. Place drain pan under pan, remove bolts, lower pan to drain fluid. Inspect for metal particles. Remove filter/strainer, clean surfaces, replace with new gasket. Apply RTV sealant, position new gasket, reinstall pan, tighten bolts diagonally. Lower vehicle, add fluid gradually through dipstick tube, check level with dipstick, run engine through gears. Drive to reach normal temperature, park on level surface, check fluid level again, adjust as needed. Avoid overfilling.
